  • To follow a trail between the Mediterranean fauna’s plants
  • Rest at a pond, presentation of the surrounding environment

Educational objectives:

  • Learn to orientate yourself
  • Recognize plants from their colour, form, or odour
  • Recognize wild animals, also by means of their traces

Sardinian stories

The Bandit's pond

Duration: 60 min. circa

Envisaged activities:

  • Short hike crossing a field and small forests, presentation of the surrounding vegetation
  • Arrival and rest at the Bandit’s Pond, storytelling of his life

Educational objectives:

  • Get to know local tales and history
  • Witness contemporary ways of life
  • Experience the surrounding environment

Sardinian animals

The world of the bees

Duration: 30 min. circa

Envisaged activities:

  • Presentation of the bees close to their hives
  • Demonstration of ancient beekeeping methods in interplay with the modern ones

Educational objectives:

  • Get to know the worker bee’s activity
  • Recognize the bee’s meaning for the ecosystem
  • Learn to respect the bees

Sardinian kitchen

Hand-made pasta!

Duration: 30 min. circa (depending on the number of students)

Envisaged activities:

  • Get to know the traditional local kitchen
  • Learn to manufacture pasta
  • Discover the secret of making Sardinian Gnocchi

VISIT THE STAZZO MUSEUM

The guided-tour starts at the stazzo museum. A guide will show parents and children this settlement from 1800 and demonstrate what rural life in ancient times was like with the help of original exhibits and local tales.

ANIMAL TOUR

The tour will then move on to the stables, where you will get in touch with cows, goats, donkeys and many more animals. This way, you will discover what working on a farm is like, and learn to respect animals and environment.
